In 2007 Kady, a 3-year-old Scottish terrier, lost her fight with leptospirosis, an infectious bacterial disease and a growing threat to many dogs. In memory of Kady and to help save other dogs from this terrible disease, Kady’s family, the Goldbergs, established the Kady Goldberg Fund for Leptospirosis Research and Awareness, known as Kady’s Cure.
