The Pixie Project

The Pixie Project is a store as well as an unique nonprofit pet-supply store, animal adoption and counseling center in Portland, Oregon, started by Amy Sacks and Karli Covington. At the store, 100 percent of every dollar they make goes right back into supporting dog rescue.

(Read more about The Pixie Project in The American Dog Magazine.)

The The Pixie Project rescues animals out of shelters and boards a doggie-daycare business located in the same building, where they receive socialization and exercise. More than 1,000 Oregon shelter dogs have found homes thanks to the The Pixie Project.
