After you subscribe, you will be asked which animal charity you want to support. You can then type in your favorite charity and The American Dog Magazine will send that organization a check.

The American Dog Magazine is sold in thousands of retail outlets nationwide and published quarterly in the spring, summer, fall and winter. The magazine is devoted to showcasing the extraordinary lifestyles of dogs and the incredible rewards associated when a family embraces these amazing canine kids as a member of the family.

The goal of The American Dog Magazine is to help end the senseless euthanizing of five plus million pets per year. The magazine promotes spaying and neutering of pets; adopting dogs from shelters and rescue groups; and educating the public about the abuse of dogs in puppy mills as well as many other issues important to dog owners. The American Dog Magazine wants people to be conscious of the welfare of animals and be concerned for the health and well-being of dogs.
